This book is three in one so it is very convenient to have. This book has three of his most acclaimed works In terms of the content, I am learning to appreciate his writing. There are many levels of art and skill in his works that require more than superficial reading/5(12).

Harold rated it liked it. This is just one man's opinion, but the characters didn't seem believable to me/5. These four plays are argued to represent a phase of Shakespeare's career when he was experimenting with rhyming iambic pentameter as an alternative form to standard blank verse; Richard II has more rhymed verse than any other history play (%), Romeo and Juliet more than any other tragedy (%) and Love's Labour's and Midsummer Night more.
Further complicating the matter is the fact that many of Shakespeare's plays exist in multiple editions, making it even more difficult to determine when the authoritative versions were completed. For example, there are several surviving versions of "Hamlet," three of which were printed in the First Quarto, Second Quarto, and First : Lee Jamieson.
That is too bad - she is a great writer and her philosophies are worth exploring. I did not know she wrote plays, so I was surprised to find this book.
